Malin Forsman has been engaged in contract law, IT law and Copyright law issues since 1996. She often drives large and complicated negotiation proceedings, as well as mediations in relation to dispute resolutions. Malin regularly drafts and negotiates a variety of agreements related to the IT sector or agreements concerning intellectual property rights. She has previously worked at i.a. Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA, U.S.A., for a period of four years, providing legal services related to product development, product launches and online services. Furthermore, Malin is the author of the book Internet Publishing and Social Media (Norstedts Juridik), and she was a member of the IT Law Observatory of the government appointed Swedish ICT Commission for many years, in which role she was able to influence new legislation such as the Personal Data Act, the Law on Responsibilities for Internet Information Providers, the Law on Distance Contracts and the Law on Electronic Trade.
