Important Notice Regarding Claims Registration
Bankruptcy proceedings for Teknikmagasinet Sweden AB are currently being handled by the District Court of Solna (Case No. K 400-20). A formal claims registration process (bevakningsförfarande) was initiated on 10 March 2021 and ended on 4 May 2021.
Only creditors who registered their claims with the Solna District Court by 4 May 2021 are eligible to receive a dividend in the bankruptcy estate. Claims submitted solely to the bankruptcy administrator will not be considered for distribution unless also filed with the court.
Late Claims (After 4 May 2021)
If you did not register your claim before the deadline, you may still submit a late claim (efterbevakning) subject to a statutory fee of SEK 1,428. Please contact Solna District Court directly for details on how to proceed.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have already submitted my claim to the bankruptcy administrator. Do I still need to file with the court?
Yes. Only claims registered with the court are eligible for dividends, regardless of whether you previously notified the bankruptcy administrator.
I had a gift card and received an advance payment. Do I need to register my claim with the court?
No, not for the prepaid portion. If you have already received an advance payment for your gift card, your claim has been submitted to the court on your behalf. However, if you hold multiple gift cards and were not paid in full, you must register any remaining unpaid claims yourself.
I received a court notice about registering my claim, even though I got an advance payment. What should I do?
This may be a duplicate notification. If you’ve already received a prepayment, your name should not be included in the court’s address list. Please contact us at teknikmagasinet@fylgia.se for clarification.
Will I receive a dividend on my claim?
A dividend for unsecured creditors is expected. However, payment will only be made as a percentage of the claim, not in full. The exact percentage is still undetermined and depends on the total number of validated claims. According to Swedish law, the minimum amount for any payout is SEK 100. If your entitled amount falls below this threshold, no payment will be made.
