Following a record-breaking year: Fylgia appoints four new Partners
Björn Karlsson, Jesper Linder, Marcus Seger and Tobias Gårderyd will take up the role of Partner with effect from 1 September 2026. The appointments follow two years of strong growth, capped by a record turnover for 2025.

Growth has been strong across all areas of the firm: transactions, construction and real estate, public procurement, and restructuring and insolvency. At the same time, the firm is undergoing a comprehensive transformation of its ways of working and its offering, and the four new Partners are driving that work forward.

Björn Karlsson is a bankruptcy trustee and specialises in insolvency law and IT law, and has been leading Fylgia's AI sandbox, the firm's team for in-house AI development. Jesper Linder specialises in construction law, public procurement and dispute resolution, with particular focus on the consultancy and infrastructure sectors. Marcus Seger represents Swedish and international companies in business-critical commercial disputes and provides strategic advice on corporate and contract law. Tobias Gårderyd is a bankruptcy trustee and specialises in insolvency law and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on complex insolvency matters and disputes. Jesper, Tobias and Björn are all recommended by Legal 500.

"We are growing faster than comparable firms, making it increasingly important to develop strong leadership from within. Jesper, Marcus, Björn and Tobias each hold a strong position with our clients and within their respective specialisms. They are now taking on broader responsibility for the firm's development," says Mathias Winge, Managing Partner

For the four of them, the partnership brings expanded responsibility for client relationships, business development, and mentoring the firm's junior lawyers.

"I am proud and delighted to become part of Fylgia's partnership. It's especially rewarding to take this step together with Jesper, Marcus and Tobias. Fylgia has had a fantastic development over the past few years, and we all look forward to contributing to continued success for the firm and our clients," says Björn Karlsson, incoming Partner
