On 30 April 2025, VCV Trucks AB (reg. no. 559466-1166) was declared bankrupt by the Stockholm District Court. Jakob Callmander, partner at law firm Fylgia, has been appointed as the bankruptcy trustee.

VCV Trucks AB was founded in 2024 as a wholly owned subsidiary of UK-based Volta Commercial Vehicles Ltd. The company focused primarily on the Scandinavian market, handling sales, marketing, service, and support for the Volta Zero – the world’s first purpose-built, fully electric 16-tonne truck.
